There are only sixteen INS-approved doctors in Canada. You will be required to pay for the medical exam, chest x-ray
and blood work, because these medical services are deemed to be above and beyond ongoing health care, and are
therefore not covered by your provincial health plan. It cost me $90 for the medical exam, $55 for the chest x-ray, and
$25 for the blood work - and it'll take anywhere from a few hours to a few weeks to get the results depending on the
doctor and your location.
